     Chi Kung Class

     

    Garry Andrews offers this new class from Friday 6th May.

    A wonderful way to benefit your health!

    Classes are held on a Friday between 11am and 12pm. 

    Cost is £6 per week, payable only when you attend.

    No experience is necessary, all are welcome!

    What is Chi Kung ?

    Chi Kung is an ancient form of gentle exercise practiced in China for hundreds of years. Regular practice can improve muscle strength, joint flexibility, stamina and general health.

    There are many forms of Chi Kung and many styles from medical Chi Kung through to Chi Kung for relaxation and vitality. Chi Kung also emphasizes the cultivation of Chi or (vital energy) within the body.

    This is a philosophy that is prevalent in China and used as a means of maintaining good health. Classes’ are suitable for anyone of any age. Many exercises can even be performed in a chair if necessary.

    As with any new exercise regime you are advised to check with your medical professional before embarking on a Chi Kung class.
