What is a Reiki Attunement
Reiki is a form of energy healing which can be used to heal mind, body and spirit, for yourself and others.
Reiki is safe non-invasive energy healing therapy that helps your bodies own healing mechanisms to address physical, mental, spiritual and emotional problems. Reiki does not invlove any pressure , manipulation or massage.
Reiki is a Japanese word that means universal life force. Rei means the universal wisdom and knowledge, the part of you that makes you tick. Ki means life force, the energy that flows through all living things and is present in all inanimate things.
It originated in Japan and was discovered by Dr Mikao Usui, coming to the West in the 1930s.
Reiki works on all the energies of the body. it balances, heals and harmonises body, mind and spirit by removing negative energy and stagnant/blocked Chi – the subtle electromagnetic vibrational particles that we and everything, are made of. Reiki can also be used for spiritual growth. It creates positive energy and calmness and can only be used for the greatest and highest good.
Reiki is a truly relaxing therapy that can help to:
Support the bodies natural ability to heal itself
De stress calm and detoxify
Remove negativity and breakdown patterns of behaviour
Provide deep relaxation and wellbeing
Sarah Bradshaw – Reiki Master provides Reiki courses at all levels, from beginner (first degree) through practitioner (second degree) to teacher (master degree) at the centre.
Attunements to four different frequencies of Reiki energy are offered – Reiki 1 attunes the healer to the following frequencies:
Usui Reiki
Takes its name from Dr Mikao Usui, a buddhist monk who rediscovered this system of healing during the late 1800s in Japan. This is the most popular form of reiki being practiced in the West and is the startinf gpoint for most Reiki initiates.
Tibetan Reiki
Is offered as an additional attunement alongside the Usui Reiki, students are attuned to this frequency at no extra cost when booking a Usui course at any level. Combining the Tibetan and Usui frequencies increases the power of the Reiki we are able to channel through our hands for healing.
